Biography
Dr. Luguang Wang is an assistant professor in the Department of Biological Engineering. Prior to joining USU, he was a postdoc fellow at The Johns Hopkins University and a research associate at Oregon State University.
Teaching Interests
Downstream processing, Environmental microbiology, Microbial ecology.
Research Interests
Dr. Luguang Wang has diverse research interests and experiences in engineering bioelectrochemical systems for a sustainable future. He is particularly interested in 1) Hydrogen and bio-products production from waste streams and renewable electricity; 2) Carbon dioxide capture; and 3) Biosystem modeling using biosensors and machine learning algorithms.
