Biography

Dr. Roper has 31 years’ experience isolating, propagating, characterizing and sensing viral and bacterial pathogens using novel nanomaterials. He simulates electrodynamics in bio-, nano- and meta-materials to advance nano/biomedicine, sustainable energy, and precision agriculture.

Teaching Interests

Biological engineering. Transport. Separations. Thermodynamics. MATLAB. ASPEN. Instrumental analysis.

Research Interests

Gene vector delivery. Infectious disease. Nano/biotechnology. Photonics. Bio/nanomaterials. Electrodynamics simulation.
