BE Students Earn A-pin Award

The "A" pin is one of the oldest and most difficult academic awards to earn. The award was initiated in 1910, to acknowledge and reward students who have a 15 credit hour course load and maintain a perfect 4.0 grade-point average for two consecutive semesters. The award consisted of receiving a pin that features the primary icon of Utah State University's Old Main Tower and includes the phrase "USU Scholarship," denoting the highest marks in scholarly achievement. As well as a catered luncheon with the dean and College of Engineerings department heads.

On Tuesday, October 18th, 2016 Interim Dean Jagath Kaluarachchi, and department heads from across the College of Engineering recognized four students from the Biological Engineering department as having earned this prestigious award.
